So every time I hear an Alanis Morissette song come on the radio, I can't help but think that she would be an awesome Elphaba! She's got a political, nasal toned voice which fits the Elphaba character, and of course her trademark "yodel" between vocal registers. She has a grudge with the world, and I think she might, just might, look better if she were painted green.
Why hasn't anyone else thought of this?

LOL--I can see that, too. She's just have to work on her twitching and jaw-rolling while she sings, though. Otherwise, yes! I would dig her as Elphaba :)
I totally see that, now that you mention it. But, having been someone who related to Alanis Morrissette on a personal level (or at least tried to), I'm pretty sure she would find that beneath her.
